We are living in an educational environment where there is a crisis in mental health with students and staff, they are disengaged with learning, and the very sake of democracy is at stake. It is important to understand that the current systems that are in place are designed to give us the outcomes that we are seeing, and rather than continue to hold these problems in place, it is time to radically reimagine what is possible in the ecosystems we are a part of.
CADRE aims to partner with you in beginning the process of creatively addressing these problems with solutions that organically emerge from those who are closest to them: the staff, students, and communities the education system purports to serve. We know that systems change is not linear or unidimensional, so we work with you in assessing what is the best entry point to get started, whether it be collecting metrics that matter to staff, students, and families, engaging youth or community members in a YPAR project, or providing keynotes and professional developments to change mental models, we are here to partner with you in creating transformational chain so that all may flourish.
Schools are unique ecosystems, which bring together youth, teachers, administration, and often, elected School Board members. We understand navigating this terrain is unique from other types of organizations, and with years of experience in education, serving schools and districts is a specialty for Cadre LLC. We look forward to helping you design wellbeing surveys and interventions unique to your district, your teachers and staff, and your administration. We appreciate that each district is working within its own unique ecosystem and we are committed to the wellbeing of all of your stakeholders, from students to staff and teachers to administrators. Wellbeing at school is impacted by the wellbeing of the community that the school serves. We know that parent and community engagement, in an authentic and transformative way, can be difficult to harness. We also know that when it is done well, it can be revolutionary for everyone. With years of experience working with youth, parents and communities, we are experts in engaging parents and caregivers. We look forward to partnering with your school or district to begin engaging the parents of the young people you serve! This work qualifies for Title I funding.
CADRE takes a unique approach in connecting evidence based practice and practice based evidence in a way that lifts up what is working in real educational contexts, while supporting, challenging, and expanding the best research on what it takes for educational systems to thrive. Based on a global scan we identified and partnered with four educational ecosystems where marginalized youth and families are thriving, thus our work is not just based on theory of what works, it is grounded in it. Our approach aims to create the conditions that nurture wellbeing in students, staff, and families because we know that this helps to create the conditions for staff to avoid burnout and become more productive, students to achieve better academically, more positive mental health outcomes, and equitable outcomes both within the education systems and beyond.
